Hi,

you've created a raster image - just a picture. You need to create a vector chart to have zoomed detail.

Thank you. I tried making a vector in RM in all of the formats. The vector loads onto the Handheld but doesn't display. They show up in Homeport and display there, but not on the handheld unit itself.

Sounds as though your zoom levels havent been set up properly in GME. Level 0 must be 24 bit. Send me the zipped MP if you want me to have a look.

Hello, I have read this discussion but I am not sure if I understand everything correctly. I have GARMIN ECHOMAP 92sv and I am very disapointed that I cannot export quickdraw contours to my PC. I have questionned GARMIN support and they send me ths :

Description: Hello, how can I transfer quickdraw contours map to my computer? Is it possible? Or I can view it only on my chartplotter? Thank you very much.
GARMIN support:
"Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.
At present it is only possible to view these recording on your Garmin plotter.

Garmin are working on an online application that will enable customers to upload their QuickDraw data to a PC application.

There is no set date for the release of this application, however Garmin are working on this currently.
If there is anything else I can help you with then please let me know. Alternatively, you can search for a solution here: www.garmin.co.uk/support
Kind regards,"

Is there any possibility to solve this with REEFMASTER and make a map with QD contours on PC??
Thank you very much.

I've grabbed back GPSMapEdit (2.1) to update the maps made in RM to be used on a Garmin Etrex (I've bot a 10 and a 22x).
Anyway, I think I'm missing something:
when importing the isobaths.shp I'm asked to choose at first the type of object (and I choose the Navico Blue 1 code 0x0302
and then I'm asked to choose the source of labels, but If I do select the TYPE column the result is that all the isobaths are assigned to the Type Blue 1 and they are not assigned to different shades of blue "to each of the first 5 depth graduations" as per Anglinchart tutorial.

What I'm doing wrong?

EDIT
I was missing to switch to FROM FIELD tab during first step
