i met the first GREAT problem ..
Defining map boundary it says OUT OF MEMORY,
so i look for the good dimension till it works,
the problem is that it is 20% of what i need.

Am i in error ? i could create 4/5 or better 6 maps (squares)
as i did using DrDepth, after that, will i join all of them in one and only
for my Hds ?

How big is your map area?
What sort of system are you running on?

We don't limit map size, so if you've got the memory (and are running 64 bit Windows), you can go pretty large - 20km+ across. Bigger than that and you will need to split. Let me know and I can offer some tips on how to do it.

ReefMaster is much better than DrDepth when it comes to handling large maps. 18x18 miles in one go might work but it is on the limit. If over the limit you divide it into two projects and merge them in a user map - no biggie.

BUT, 32 bit windows and 4GB is a problem in this case. You will have to make several projects I think.

Reefmaster is very very very much better than Drd !! i can shout it !! non doubt !
Using Drd i did 9 project ( each square 7000x7000 )
and Mapedit merge them in an only one total map at the end.

With Reefmaster i can make 30 project, no problem ! after that how i could merge them ?
is it possible ? is it difficult ?
Or the solution is travel with 30 SD card and change it going forward ... ?

You generate each project and then transfer the created map to a "user map". In the user map you can combine all projects and export it into one single at5 (or shapefiles or whatever).

automatically erase duplicate datas, i think ( and hope )

It will not be automatically erased so use the same boundary in the neighbouring projects. I don't have to split my map anymore (win 64 and much mem) but when I did I got a very small (10-20 meters) gap between the parts if I used the same boundary.

If you give it a try you will see how it works.

Martin's advice is good - split the map into as many areas as required so that each can generate on your system. Running 32 bit Windows is a limitation, as the maximum memory that RM can use is something under 4GB, so you'll probably need to split your map into at least 4 sections (9 miles per cell).
We don't have an automatic way of doing this yet within ReefMaster, but we are planning on including something in a later update.

In the mean time, I would suggest that you make a total of 4 copies of your map project (use the Copy Project menu option available in the asset library right-click menu). Then define the map area of each project to each of the 4 areas - you will need to work this out by hand at the moment. You can then either add the results of each project to a single, large User Map or simply export each project separately and combine the AT5 files on your memory card. If you are going to try the second option, note that you will need to rename each of the generated large.at5 files so that they don't clash (e.g. map1.at5, map2.at5 - you must keep the at5 extension). Multiple at5 files will all be loaded in to memory on the unit. Note also that you will have to use a vector-only format (no raster or shaded relief background) because of the way at5 maps handle transparency (there are ways around this, but you would need to export your map and raster files and run the IMC yourself - let me know if you need details).

but now i'm peaceable my work could have an happy end

Two easy questions, my personal data (tracks), remain my data or Reefmaster take it from my pc
to generate a database for everyone in the future ?

The second, i'm creating shorline and islands in Reefmaster, i see it save automatically everything,
can i create a back up or have save it in a different folder or a pendrive to preserve
my works from pc crash for example.
