Hi guys,

I have downloaded Elite 5 and LMS520 emulator onto win7 64 bit , created Maps0 folder in the emulator install directory and dropped the reefmaster exported files in and they wont display.

The maps displays perfectly on my boat HDS Touch's.

Anything i am missing here?

It's possible that this is an AT5 version problem. The default is version 12, which might not be supported in that emulator (of an older unit).
You could try version 10, in which case you would need to export via the Export GPS Data window (i.e. via write to file) and not via a preset map style, which always used v12.

I *think* that you are doing the right thing as far as the emulator & file location are concerned.

A chart for the HDS is not the same as for an Elite (emulator).
The unit OS are different and e.g. the color palette of the Elite unit is much more restricted.

Use the Insight Planner for view the AT5 file on pc.

I used the emulators a lot before I bought IP. I haven't tried Atlas 12 on emulator, but whenever i used a colour they did not like, that colour would be displayed as either white, black or land-green, the rest of the map worked as usual.

Hi,

I installed in the x86 directory (default) and then tried in the documents directory.

Running latest version of reef master and imc. Just tried a simple 500m stretch of river.

I used to use lcmmapedit with shapefiles and run them in the simulators with no issues.

Are you sure that there is no "Navico" or "Lowrance" / Lowrance Electronics" folder in a "Program Files" folder ? (NOT the Program files(x86) folder).

Also IP used to be very fussy about having charts installed only into the "Charts" folder in "Insight Planner" in the docs folder. I don't know if this is still the same as I don't play with Planner (its such an awful bit of software).
