Tests with bathymetry processing obtained with StructureScan 3D (SL3 log)
If the Reef is implemented reading bathymetry from Sl3, then you need to implement the cloud point editor. As well as filtering algorithms and compensation of dynamic movements.

Very interesting...would you be willing to explain how you are extracting the point cloud data from the .SL3. Sonarwiz is the only software that I have found that is advertising the data extraction.

Hi NVC,
i have tried to extract the cloud of points from the SL3 files but i always get an error.
According to the translation from russian to english the error is "Overflow". Is it an error from the size of the file SL3?
Can you advice me or any instructions on how to use the SL3 extraction??
Thanks!
best wishes,
~diego

Hi NVC.

Have just tried low2ozi - it works and shows the depth graph but the output file (.WPT) has only one string while the source SL3-file is rather big (~60 MB). What I am doing wrong?

I have tried with V.17 that has an English menu which can save out the downscan and side scan but not for multibeam.

I would highly appreciate if you could convert to .CSV this log file (or just a part of it) - drive.google.com/file/d/1vdYJVNdIApvL6-G...xxe/view?usp=sharing
Thank you in advance. Really want to estimate whether this point cloud might be useful for practical purposes.
