Hi,
I have a lot of tracks (hundreds) from large river. Some regions have enough depth points to create map, some not. So I need set of separate projects for regions.
How to include in new project all tracks with at least one point in selected region? Does it possible from Global View?
Tried: Region select, new project from selection. No luck, not all tracks with points inside selection included.
Seems the only way is to include all tracks and then crop by selection. Or I skip something and it can be done without all tracks selection on each project start?

Region select selects tracks using the "select handle" at the top-left of the track extent, not based on whether the track has track-points within the selection marquee.
Probably the easiest solution is just to add all overlapping tracks and just map the smaller region (i.e. draw the mapping rectangle over the sub-region of interest). Having excess track-points around the edges of the map project won't really impact performance much. A simple way to add all overlapping tracks is to add one or two tracks to a new map project, define the region and then add all tracks that overlap this region using the "+ Overlapping" button under the Tracks header in the edit project panel.
I wouldn't bother cropping tracks to fit your map region, as this will affect all projects that may use those tracks and won't improve performance.
