I bought the Reef Master Pro. I should have gotten the Bottom Hardness add-on/Module . I went and looked on Reef Master's home page, and 'Products' but couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Found how to do it!

For future users, open your Reef Master Program and look in the upper left corner of the dash board for the Shark button. Hold your mouse cursor over it and you'll see "About Reef Master". Click it and you'll see Reef Master info, your license number and modules. Bottom Composition and a couple of other choices are there.

One question though.. Now that it's installed, which is hard bottom, which is soft? Dark blues are over known mucky area's so dark blue is soft bottom and lighter colors hard? That's how it's showing on my map.

Thanks

You can use different palettes for composition, just as you do for depth. :)

Thanks for the reply! Found out about the color palettes last night, but regardless of colors used, how do you know/determine what is soft bottom and what is hard?

The hardest values are shown using the colours at the left of the pallete, with softest at the right.
For example, in the image below the harder areas are dark and the selected palette (outlined in red) has darker colours towards the left. When creating a user-defined palette, the top of the colour list equates to the left of the palette selector image (i.e. harder values for hardness, deeper values for depth).
