Why do I get the following error message whenever I try to create a new workspace? and what should I do to fix it?

Hi Neil,
Are you running a recent Dell computer with Dell Backup and Restore installed? If so, this is the cause of the error and the only solution at the moment is to uninstall the Dell application (followed by a restart).
This issue is affecting a range of other applications also, and so far the advice from those companies is the same. Dell are aware of the issue.

If you do not have this program installed, please provide some more information about your system and we can try to resolve the issue.

I do have a new Dell running win10. However, I can't seem to find the Dell backup. Is it the same as the windows history feature?

BTW - my current work-around is to create a new workspace (blank) on a win 7 machine, then copy the rmdb file to the new system which will allow me to proceed.
