Hello,
How do you adjust the start time for a track. I need to match the time to a tide station.

Original track
start time: 2015-11-17 9:05:47 end time: 11/17/2015 9:23
what I want to change it to
start time: 17/11/2015 19:33:47 end time: 11/17/2015 19:51

if I change the start time in reefmaster by keying in the time
start time: 17/11/2015 19:33:47 end time: 11/17/2015 9:21
tide station ignores new start time and end time has not increased corresponding to the new Start Time and has in fact gone backwards by 2 minutes
if I close the track and reopen the following appears
start time: 17/11/2015 09:03:47 end time: 11/17/2015 9:21
My revised start time has disappeared and has now gone back 2 minutes from the original.

Trying to edit the Start Date in the AngelLake1 track in the trial version has similar behaviour.
Also if you use the arrow to move the start time forward a hour the end Time will suddenly go back about 9 hours.
Is this a limitation of the trial version or am I doing something wrong?

I'm using Windows 7.

Thanks
Robert

No, it is not a limitation of the trial version.
Make sure that you are either viewing in UTC or that you have the timezone set correctly for the track, and also make sure that you leave the edit window for the time (e.g. tab out of it) because this is what triggers the update to the database.
I can't reproduce that behaviour here but if the problem persists then please send your track file through to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. along with details of the timezone you are using and I will look into it.

Hello Matt, thanks for the quick reply. My track is too big to email as it includes side imaging and is 30min long.
The behaviour however happens with any track I try to edit.
ive attached a video using a Track from the American lake example.
I noticed that the Start time and end times are in different date/time formats.
Thanks
Robert

Rather than messing around with the track start time I realised that if I keep everything in UTC CUT I can align the track with the Tide Station. Just need to think in terms of CUT instead of local time.
Another thing I noticed was that on the first track of the day where I assume I didnt allow the humminbird enough time to pick the time off the Satellite the track imported in a nonsensical Start time in the future. I was able to correct the track by using the Start Time controls to set the end time and when I close and reopen the track the actual Start time gets calculated automatically backwards from the end time (as per the behaviour I recorded in the video in the previous post).
