Hello
Is it possible to use a Lowrance LCX 27c to produce maps in Reefmaster and then adding them back in to the unit?

Yes. You can log sonar data, and at least display LCM-maps. (Se page 77 in your manual on how to log.) I belive you might use at5 as well, if exported with a low Altlas-version. Keep in mind though that your unit only accepts memorycards up to 2GB.

AT5 but not insight genisis, they are encoded in a different way.

yup just use atlas version 7
biggest issue is to find a card under 2 gb
