The 1.5 version sees to press RM harder then before. I get an "Out of memory"-message when I try to open one of the projects that worked fine before the update.

Matt: You already have the workspace if you want to test it, and the project is "Steinsfjorden".

There are a few small changes that are enough to push bigger projects over the limit now.
The good news is that we will have a 64 bit release in beta soon, so memory issues should be a thing of the past for many.

I'm working with a large area and often get an out of memory message. I've noticed that acknowledging the message and closing the offending project does not seem to release the memory. Closing and restarting the program seems to be the only way to overcome this.

Bring on 64 bit...

Still dogged by out of memory messages. I have broken my large map into 4 chunks but still get frustrated by these messages.

The next release will be AnyCPU - so will run in 64 bit if you have a 64 bit OS. This is just a few weeks away now..

I know I'm pushing it hard, but the beta 64-bit copes with my largest map at 140 km2. It takes it a good 40 min to generate the map, and the "Reefmaster is not responding"-message pops up, but it works. So you have something to look forward to Meggs. :)
