I have created at test batch of Wpts on the trial version of ReefMaster. i will not allow me to save the Wpts as AT5 (which i believe should be compatiable with HDS Gen3's) as it will not allow exporting in the trial version.

the Sonar Viewer trial version allows a file to be saved, how do i open my batch of Wpts from ReefMaster on Sonar Viewer to test them on my finders?

You can't save anything in the trial version of ReefMaster, but you can save your waypoints in either GPX or USR format in the Sonar Viewer trial. Either of these formats will import OK into the HDS3. Note that with GPX format there will be no icon information (all waypoints will import with the default Lowrance icon). With the USR (v3) format there is some (limited) conversion between the ReefMaster icon set and Lowrance where near equivalents exist (e.g. a ReefMaster fish will be converted to a Lowrance fish, bait -> bait etc.).
Waypoints can be exported from the sonar viewer using the right-click menu in the map view, and the format can be selected using the drop-down list on the file chooser window.

many thanks, it is just that i am not sure what version i want and i have done quite a bit of wpts in the ReefMaster and needed to get these out even if i was only going to use the Sonar View program.

so there is no way i can get those wpts out of ReefMaster at this stage?

Unfortunately not. If you do decide to go with the sonar viewer over ReefMaster then we could extract your waypoints for you; send us your .rmdb (workspace database) file and we can extract the waypoints in the format of your choice and send them back.
