Hello,

I installed RM on my new PC (win 8.1, i5, 8 GB ram) and also installed the sonar viewer.

My tracks are recorded on a first gen Lowrance HDS. Worked fine untill now: but now I can not 'play' my newer track / slg files anymore from within RM.

My older tracks are fine and can be played.
I've been going through my settings, but nothing works. Playing the tracks with Lowrance Sonar Viewer outside of RM is fine.

Please help me get on the right 'track'....
Thanx in advance!

Guido

Hi Guido,
You don't need to have the Lowrance sonar viewer installed - that is left in as an option for importing depths from some older slg files that we do not support natively.
It looks to me like you have the option "use Slg2txt.exe" selected in your import profile. This option means that RM runs the sonar file through the slg2txt application and just uses the depth and position data that this application provides - the sonar file itself is not imported, which is why the sonar viewer button is disabled in your screen shot.
The solution is to uncheck "use slg2txt.exe" and reimport your files.
