I've got myself an globalsat BU-353S4 usb gps receiver but in reefmaster i cant get any position.
Got the right port selected and i get $GPRMC and $GPGGA data with the gpsinfo testing tool but no fix!
I thought this data should be enough to get an position.

My matrix 12 humminbird fishfinder has done well, i get depth information in reefmaster.

What do i have to do to get this right for my position?

Hi Raymon,
Either of those messages should be enough for a position fix. Do you see any green light in RM flashing at all when you connect the NMEA source? If possible, it would be useful to look at a log of your raw NMEA messages - please log a few minutes and send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I can take a look to see if there are any obvious issues.
Are you transmitting depth and, if so, do you see a flashing green D in RM?

The only flashing green light i see is the one with the "D" in it. The "P" is red. I olso see that he's giving mee depth numbers. So i think thats all right. I will send u a picture of the NMEA logs from my gps receiver.
