I have an Elite 5 CHIRP i have made maps with both IMC version 10 and 12 but the maps do not display on this unit, does the Elite 5Chirp need a software update to be able to view the maps?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

It depends on how old the software is to begin with. :) The first versions had to be updated. You probably want to update it to 4.0 anyway though.

I have the same unit and some issue with vector file, some indigo color appear white....
