Hi, when I make a splitview sonar and track it is possible to select a "sonar point"and it gives me the lat/lon and elevation 0.59m.... but the same point in trackview gives a different height 0.74m. I know it is the keeloffset but why the difference in height in different views
for sure i've done something wrong, but any help more than welcome.

Hi Chris,
You are not doing anything wrong - depths in the map view are shown at their fully adjusted value, which takes keel offset and tide into account. Depths in the sonar viewer are completely unadjusted. I agree this is a little confusing - the reasoning behind it is that it would be very awkward to show adjusted depths in the SV that are also aligned with the sonar image, especially when you consider that tide values can be constantly varying (unlike a keel offset). I could see a case for also showing the adjusted depth in the sonar viewer when a track-point is selected, to avoid this confusion.

Your explanation makes a lot of sense when you consider that areas may dry as the tide recedes.
