Me again.

I have 4 sl2 Files.
1 is fine, but the others just have 1-4 Elements. If i open them in the Lowrance Sonar Viewer, they are fine.

I don't get it?!

That's a strange one Pat.
Could you please send me one of the files? This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . If its big, you'll need to use something like http://www.sendspace.com/.
Confidentiality assured, of course!

cheers,
Matt

Edit to add: and it also doesn't import without "use slg2txt.exe" selected?

No that's fine Pat. When you use the option "use slg2txt.exe" then RM will use the Lowrance program to parse the sl2 file, and import depths/locations from the (temporarily) generated csv file. When the option is unchecked, RM reads the file directly. We actually left the option in for the case where RM failed to import a file directly, but there do seem to be some cases with recent files where that tool fails.
I would say as a rule, leave that option unchecked and only try it if a file import has failed.

cheers,
Matt

Ok, i'll uncheck the option.

For me it seemed to be necessary to use it. But now i know it.

Thanks
