hello,
I would like to buy Reefmaster.
To record data from the plotter and the fish finder I would use this logger this logger.
The logger logs NMEA data from one or two input ports, and writes the data directly to a standard USB memory stick. Data is stored as standard NMEA0183 format.
I would like to know if Reefmaster is able to import data from standard NMEA0183 format.

Hi,
Yes it is possible if you combine the position and depth NMEA data into a single stream, which this logger appears to be capable of.

something like this?

GPS SENTENCE;
FISHFINDER SENTENCE;
GPS SENTENCE;
FISHFINDER SENTECE;
....
....

Both sentences (GPS and Fishfinder) must be in the same file?

Exactly like that. Depth sentences don't carry time information, so they have to be interleaved with position data as they are recorded.
