It's a proprietary format - you are out of luck I'm afraid. GPSMapedit went a way towards working the other way (creating LCM data), but nobody that I know of has written a decompiler.

If you do not own the original files - logfiles, *.drd or whatelse - there is no chance. Lcm are Navico encrypted format and there is no decryting tool to be found.

If you own the *.drd's, it is just a simlpe step to convert all in one flow to *.csv, which you could easily import into RM.

I hope that there is no way to convert an old lcm file into csv or something else. My first maps were made with DRD, i used the lcm format. Many people have these old maps und use these. They didn´t help me with the creating of the maps or gave me the records of their trips. The maps were copied and copied and copied...

If there would be a converter they can use my work for nothing. That is not ok! A copy protection would be nice... but i don´t know any programm with suited.. :-(

I agree with this 100 % ;)

The "copy protection" of lcm is, that these maps make trouble with actual hardware and actual firmware.

If you want your maps to become copy protected, you can do this as a Navico toolkit partner.
