I'm not sure this is related to RM, but someone here probably has tried RM maps on Lowrance HDS 10...
My RM-maps, (generated with IMC atlas 12) causes my friend's HDS 10 to reboot over and over again. We have tried with both raster and vector maps and also tried the maps on an HDS 7 gen 1 (with good result).
The HDS 10 unit boots, display "loading chart" for a short while, and then it's back to the booting screen again.
When he uses another (Navionics) card the HDS 10 unit works fine.
Anyone else who has this problem? (My friend is a bit hesitant to reset and/or upgrade his unit since it works fine otherwise, but I guess that's the next thing to try...)

Do you use the option 'Chart selection' (something like M=ABC|D=Billy Bob's Pond) in the IMC?
If yes, I would recommend to avoid it till Gregory has responded to my postings on the Tackle Fever board.

My units keep rebooting too when I use that option.

I would also suggest going over to the TackleFever IMC forum and asking your question there, as ultimately this is probably an issue further down the chain than ReefMaster.
Have you tried generating the map with Atlas 10?

Try using another SD card, they do go bad from time to time.
If his HDS 10 is Gen 1 and running the original SW, it will not work with at5 from RM (atlas 10). I would strongly recommend that he updates to SW 4.1 as this will also add a lot of functionality if he is on the original SW. There are NO issues with this SW and I have been running it on my HDS 8 Gen 1 (wich is exactly like the HDS 10 apart from screensize) since it came out.

There has been some issues reported with SW 3.0 for HDS Touch, but I know of no issues with 3.0 for HDS Gen 2 non-Touch and have been running this software on my HDS 5 Gen 2 with no problems since it came out.

Always back up waypoints before updating, and check settings after the update.

Thanks for your suggestions. I dont use the chart selection option and we have tried different SD-cards. Next step will be testing Atlas 10 and then upgrading the unit to the latest software.

It is an HDS 10 gen 1 and an upgrade to 4.1 solved the problem.
