Hi!
I have used Reefmaster with great results for Lowrance, but I need some help with Humminbird.
I'm following this tutorial for creating a map for humminbird: reefmaster.com.au/reference/?context=300 Unfortunately I don't have a Humminbird unit to try the map on (fixing it for a friend) but the output files are named 000.HT, 001.HT and so on. Is this correct?
Shouldn't the files be named after the map project with suffixes like CN, SL or m depending on type, or do these names and suffixes only show up once installed in the Humminbird unit?
Thanks,
Markus

Hi Markus,
Those are the expected filenames. HB has fixed names for track files - 000.HT onwards (50 in total on most units, I don't know if that varies). The track names are stored within the files. When you import the data onto the HB unit, you will see the tracks with the name of the map project, with a suffix denoting the type. You then just need to follow the steps to style these in the way you want.
Make sure to copy the output files to a folder named MATRIX at the root level of an SD card, before inserting into the HB device.
