Not sure whether I'm doing something wring or there is a bug but I'm trying to import a .sl2 file from a Lowarance Elite Ti2 device and the time shown in ReefMaster is 8 hours off the correct time. Not sure whether the time shown is UTC of local but either way it's incorrect.

For instance, I have a recording started at 11:00:00 local time but ReafMaster is showing 19:00:07.

My timezone is UTC-5 Eastern Time (US & Canada) although currently it's more UTC-4 because of daylight saving time and I set the correct timezone when importing the files.

It's a critical issue because I'm trying to apply tides adjustment and it messes up all the depths.

Thanks for helping!

Seems that 19:00:07 is UTC according to the track-point when clicking on it but still 4 hours off.

I was able to change the time by editing the track but there is definitely something wrong with the way time is managed in ReefMaster. I set the the timezone to UTF-5 (Eastern Time US & Canada) and the time to 11:00 but the track-points are showing 11:00 UTC and the track time in the workspace on the left pane still shows 19:00.

After restarting ReefMaster, the track time in the workspace is now correct but the track-points are still wrong.

I think I can get around this problem by manually setting the time with UTC time but it's a bit of a pain to have to do this for each track.

OK it's not working out since tide adjustment is done when importing tracks so if the time is wrong at import tide adjustment will be wrong too!

Still 9 days left for the trial. I'm sorry but it won't be possible for me to buy a licence if this problem is not fixed.
