I have had Reefmaster for several years and never had a problem using slg data but this time after processing a file that is a little larger than 1 GB, the GPS Assets show 0 elements. It seems odd that for a file so large reefmaster isn't seeing anything at all to Import. Is the file too large?

Anything different about this SLG file? Different unit, settings used? It's possible that it is just corrupt - this does happen sometimes - but it could also be an issue at our end. The only real way to find out is if you can share the file - best way to do this is to zip it up first and then share to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. using a service such as WeTransfer.

And I don't think there were any changes in how it was collected although no one has ever sent me an slg this large before. Usually our people break the collection up into smaller chunks so that would be the only difference I am aware of.

I don't get an issue in either RM2 or the Waypoint Manager - over 14000 data points. Which version of RM are you using? Latest is 2.2.57 and there may have been some fixes in this area.

I kept clicking "Check for Updates" and it kept telling me it was up-to-date but I see that it is v 1.8.41.0.

I will try to get it updated (time to call IT) and then try again.

Ah OK - you are still on v1! The update path form v1 to v2 works a little differently - there were emails at the time. Best to download and install v2 alongside v1 from our download page here: reefmaster.com.au/index.php/downloads/try-reefmaster
You can then try it for 2 weeks before deciding whether to purchase the upgrade. I am faily certain that your issue is resolved in the latest version.
