Hi, I'm having problems with the sidescan. Reefmaser doenst show my sidescan at all. I know it used to work in the past. (5 years ago)

Does anyone have an idea what it can be?

The HDS 5 Gen2 has the latest firmware installed. (V4.0 45.2.200)

Best regards,

Maarten

Hi Matt,

I think I found the problem. I connect to my computer via remote desktop, and that causes the sonar views to not show. Do you know why that is?

Best regards,

Maarten

Hi Maarten,
I know we have discussed this via email, but for those who might find this forum thread: remote desktop doesn't always support hardware graphics acceleration by default. I believe that the current version of remote desktop should be able to support DirectX 10.1 now, which is what RM uses, but settings might need to be changed before it does so. This is why the sidescan wasn't showing.
