Been doing a lot of work the past few days on a new lake and have a question about image quality. There is a double dark band that appears on the lake floor in my ReefMaster image that does not appear on the Lowrance HDS. This appears on every single sonar log that this device collects and this software displays. Is this a Lowrance setting or is this a transducer adjustment issue?

This is some kind of interference (DS and SS?) that has always been a feature of Lowrance sidesan. Unfortunately there is nothing we can really do about it.

Just got an answer from Doctor Sonar. He said to use 455 and they will disappear. It’s a problem with 800. I’ll capture some mosaics and put up some images in a few days.
