Hi, I wonder if any has successfully imported bathy data from a Deeper smart sonar?
deepersonar.com/uk/en_gb

The .csv contains all data but the lat/long data is only sent with 15 step increments in the file

Lat/lon in your example is the same for both records.I know that people have imported Deeper data into RM, but I haven't seen a file with missing lat/lons before. Were you moving when this was recorded? Is the lat/lon always included at exactly 15 line intervals? If you try filtering the rows without lat/lon you should be able to import the remaining data at least.

Ja, it imports lines with a valid lat/long. It is 1hz recording (gps) but sonar record with 15hz thus the missing positions.
Could Reefmaster interpolate coordinates to make use of all depths?

The ping value of the sonar is bigger than the GPS acquisition. I think that's why we get points without coordinates. The solution is to open first the gpx file in a GIS (example QGis) and delete all the points that are in the equator (the ones with no coordinates). Later you can export the track back to gpx and open in RF. For me, it is the simplest solution
