Hello sir,
Can you provide us a tutorial or an example of kml configuration file when the side scan mosaic folder file is located on the local PC.
Trying to use the ReefMaster v2.0 help don't gave us the solution to read side scan mosaic export kml file in Google Earth, the location of the Kml file seems to be OK but i think the problem is on the <href> configuration field and folder location when an URL is not using and multiple png files are associated.
When each single side scan file is exported as a kmz file, it works perfectly.
I hope our question is not too ridiculous but we are new user of reffmaster.

HI Larent,
What is the issue you are having?
The KML "superoverlay" exports a number of files, split into "tiles", over a range of resolutions. These files are all held in a folder that has the same name as your export. Above this folder is a single KML file, which references files in the sub-folder. For the overlay to work, the top-level file (this is the one you uploaded in your original post) and the sub-folder (with all of its files) are both required. You won't see anything if you open the top-level file and the sub-folder is not available.
All file references are relative to the top-level file, which means you can move the set of export files without issue.

Hi Matt,

We don't see any mosaic sonar in Google earth but we solved the problem by inserting the local address of the png folder on the PC and adding the extension kml in the <name> field. Everything is OK for this problem.

Is it possible to export a geotiff, with or without a tfw associated file, of a mosaïc sonar ?

Best Rgds

As far as I know there is no way to do so directly from RM, so I am using QGIS to export mosaic as geotiff.

Hi Pedro,

In three words the procedure is :

- export mosaic by RM as MBTiles
- import MBTiles file in QGIS
- export corresponding raster layer as GeoTiff
