So, working on some massive projects with your program. So big that i'm having to move files around to keep from clogging my hard drive up worse than I already have. As a product of this, moving files requires me to have to reconnect to the recordings. Which is time consumptive to say the least when you have over a hundred recordings in a file. Is there a way for me to change the locations that reefmaster looks for the sonar files when I move them so I don't have to reconnect each one?

The only way I've found is to use SQLite tool (rm2db is sqlite database) and execute SQL script. Dangerous operation for non-programmers.

Agreed - this is something we need to improve in RM. Potentially we could implement something like a partial change of directory for selected tracks, or an automatic search for the appropriate original sonar log, since we do keep information such as name/file size etc.
Note that RM doesn't actually need access to the original files unless you want to view sonar or create sidescan mosaics - depth information is all retained in the workspace file.
I don't really have a good workaround for you now, unless you can somehow make the new paths look like the old paths using drive mapping (susbt or net use).

Matt, it would be awful nice to be able to change the working directory locations and it still be able to find everything it needs. Maybe that is something you guys could look into for a future update or version....? I do so much mapping, that I have gigs and gigs of data that I'm forced to move it all off of my hard drive just so I can function. Additionally, I have multiple folks collecting data in conjunction with some larger projects and it would be very nice if they can throw their Reefmaster workspace on a shared drive along with the recordings so I can access it. Right now I have to reconnect each file back into the program. When you have 70 recordings, it take a long time. I don't always have to access the sonar so sometimes I can get around it but would love to see a work around for this. We use your program all the time!!!!!
