Should it be possble to produce a map with only a shoreline and spot depths in a project?
I have tried, but the generate map button remains greyed out.

I am also very interested in this question, as well as the ability to add isobaths and polygons with a given depth. There is an option, but it is very inconvenient. I want to see such tools in future releases of the program.

Danny,
The answer at the moment is no, spot depths are only intended as an adjunct to existing track-point data. I suppose this could be changed fairly easily if required but I am not certain that it has a lot of real-world use?

I have added some normal sonarlogs and a number of depth spots (with depth) to a project. But it seems Reefmaster doesn't use the depth spots to calculate the map. Are there any requirements for the depth spots to be used by Reefmaster (density? number of depth spots ?) Or what to pay attention to regarding depth spots?

No, they should always be used, although we do have a current issue when exporting ESRI grids (they are not always used). Are the spot depths within the max interpolation range? During the map build process, spot depths are treated the same as any other data point.

I'm facing the same behaviour.
Added a bunch of spots but it seems that they are not considered at all. I was expecting that some sort of emerging boulder would be showwd but they are completely ignored

Just a further feedback: If I deploy depth spots in the middle of the bay the are considered,

as soon as I place them close the shoreline they seems to be less to not considered
