What is the best way to get Reefmaster from my old computer to new computer with all the maps and data that had been previously made? Can I do it without upgrading to version 2? I can still run the old computer and I don't understand about deactivating Reefmaster on my old system.

You don't need to upgrade to v2 - download the latest v1.8 from here: http://reefmastersoftware.blob.core.windows.net/reefmaster/ReefMaster1.8.41.0.exe

Copy workspaces by copying the workspace directory and all of its contents.

If you have sonar log files, ReefMaster will need these to be in their original location when viewing sonar or sidescan mosaic. The easiest way to make this work is to ensure that you copy all of your source sonar logs to the same relative location on your new computer. e.g. if your sonar logs live in c:\sonar_logs on your old machine, then make a folder of the same name on your new machine.

If you have custom palettes or multiple equipment profiles, you might want to bring your settings file with you to the new computer. You can export and import settings using the buttons in the Global Settings window.

Thanks Matt. I now have Reefmaster on my new computer with lots of ram. I tried the new version 2 and found it not as easy to change color pallets. Never did figure it out. Maybe I'll need to upgrade later but for now I love the version 1 very much. Thanks for the help.
