Hello
I have created a new workspace, a new project, added tracks to it, and am trying to produce a map with isobath contour lines.
I highlighted my map area using "define map area".
One reason for this is possibly that I have added tracks from two different days: Sept 22 2018 and Sept 29 2018. The river level on Sept 22 about 30 miles upstream of my starting point was 2.2 feet. The river level on Sept 29 at the same location about 30 miles upstream from the starting point was 2.42 feet. Tracks from these two days were taken over almost the exact same portion of the river. Is it possible that I need to adjust the depth of the Sept 29 tracks down by .22 feet? If so how would I do this?
I have checked all of my layers, isobath, major contour, minor contour and tried to make sure that they were all set to be displayed with the correct options in each one.
After setting these and searching for solutions I would "generate map". I have never been able to get the contour or isobath depth lines to show on the map on this recent attempt. How can I show these lines?
my tracks combined are about 17.3 gigabytes.
My equipment is a Lowrance HDS 3. I save the tracks using SL2 format. All I want to do at this point is to run over the river at 20 to 25 mph and obtain depth information.
Edit: Two of my tracks were terminated abnormally when I had a low battery problem. Could these be the cause of my problem?
Thanks
Lee
