There are several nearby reservoirs without any mapping available. The good news is Google Earth has enough historical imagery to get many depth contours within my fishing range. I can trace the shoreline at these different elevations and apply a depth. One question I have: Is it better to bring this data into Reefmaster as "island/shoreline" lines with a depth or to convert these lines to points within GIS and bring them in as sonar data? I don't have any sonar data collected on these reservoirs yet but will eventually add to the data set with sonar logs.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
