Hi There,
I have lowrance 7 hdi and i've created a map in RM.
everything seems well but when i zoom in for more than 100 meters i loose all the color in the map and i can only see the depth contours and the bounderies.
Is this normal or is something wrong?

Johan

Raster Layers have a maximum zoom level to prevent over-zooming on the chart plotters. On the Elite, the maximum over-zoom is not as high as the HDS units because the chart plotter software does not currently support pixel interpolation.

You could try to create higher resolution raster layers but your data size for these raster layers will dramatically increase.

Hi Johan,
Just to echo what Greg said - but in simple terms, try using a lower Minimum Resolution during the raster phase of your map generation in the IMC. So, if you were using 1, try 0.5. It will take a bit longer, and the files will be bigger, but it should fix your problem.
