I've been using drdepth for a few years and now have 1 computer which has broken down and Im unable to deactivate so as to transfer to a new computer. How would I deal with the same issue if I buy Reefmaster?

I am pretty sure it is no problem at all with both software packages. A simple email to the developer (or substitute) will help. At least, when the computer doesn't brake down every month ...

For DrDepth you can get help at : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (even now)
Nevertheless, I would recommend purchasing a Reefmaster License. Reefmaster has a lot of features you also find in DrDepth and even some (very important) more. Reefmaster has the future, Drdepth is almost dead ... (Although I have been a heavy Drdepth user myself)

It's a fair question. Each ReefMaster license is good for activation on two machines at once, and a license can easily be deactivated on one machine, so that it can be reactivated on another. This is all taken care of by third-party license servers, so this functionality would not be affected if ReefMaster Software was not around any more. We are also able to add activations to keys remotely, and I can't envisage a situation where we would not be willing or able to do that further down the line in situations like you describe, whatever our circumstances at the time.
That's about all the assurance I can give, but I hope its enough.
