I recorded sonar data over a shallow bay on two different occasions recently. To correct for tidal influences, I looked at track intersection depths and shifted one track depth to match the depth on the other track. This method worked well except that a portion of one of the tracks was collected while fishing/drifting and the remainder of the track was collected while under power (about 5-6 mph). The portion collected under power is about 6"-8" deeper because the rear of the boat squats a little under power relative to drifting. I realize 6" is not a lot but in the shallow bays I fish it is very noticeable in the map (attached). What I would like to do is simply delete the portion of the track where I was drifting. Is there a way to delete a track segment?

There's a few ways you can do it. You can simply region select the track points that you want to delete, and press delete. Alternatively, you can try using the depth filter (if this will work for you), or you can combine the two by selecting a region first and then applying the depth filter, which will only be applied to points in the selected region. The only other option is to delete points individually.
