Has anyone used a Lowrance Point 1 GPS? I'm just wondering if it would make a difference for creating side scan mosaics.

I have a Lowrance Elite ti 7.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Yes it will. Having correct heading makes mosaic based on SideScan better. Depending on how you mount the Point-1 it can also make your depthreadings in correlation with position better, as long as the Point-1 is straight above your ducer.

Remember that you will also need a "NMEA Starter Kit" if you do not alteady have a NMEA200-network in your wessel.
