Please Help as I would like to know how to get this right.

Thanks in advance

If you have the large.at5 output file, then your map has been generated. Is this one of your own maps? What layers were visible when you made the export? What settings did you use when making the at5 export? (a screen shot would be helpful here).
If you are using an "Atlas Description", then you will need to select the correct map source within your unit (this will be the same as the atlas description you entered).
Some HDS3 firmware versions seem to have issues with map categories, and don't always update/display new ones that are provided in a map. In this case, a soft reset of the unit fixes the problem, and is probably worth a try in your case.

OK - mix up, you are using RM1.

How are you generating the large.at5? Are you exporting directly from ReefMaster? It does not look as if you have set the location of the IMC application.
Which version of the IMC are you using?
Which method are you using to export the map ("preset style" or standard export, if preset style, which style?).

Maybe try exporting one of the demo workspace maps to see if that works.

Hi,

Here are screen shots of the steps i take. I select export to file and then as follows on screens shots then when i click run the program another window pops up "generating at5" and then i go to saved folder and large.at5 and at5 xml file is there too.

Im using version 0.7.3.0 of the IMC

I will try later to do a soft reset.
Also when I go onto my chart options I can only select navionics or Lowrance it does give me any other options. or is there somewhere else i need to change it?

I suggest:

Get the latest version of the IMC, which is 0.7.4.0.
Unzip the IMC files, right click on the InsightMapCreator.exe file and, if there is a check-box labelled "unblock", click it.
Update the IMC location within ReefMaster to point at the new version of the IMC.
Try exporting one of the demo workspace maps, and see if you get output files. If you do, try them in your unit and make sure your map source is set to "Lowrance".

Great input from Matt as always, but keep in mind there is no "try to load it onto my unit". Your HDS reads directly from the memorycard by itself. You only put the memorycard in your unit, make sure you view the chartplotter, press Menu and set map-option to Lowrance. Remember to zoom in on the correct place if you are not by the lake. Having a waypoint for each lake one maps is a good idea as it helps when testing maps at home, making sure you zoom in on the right place.
