When i bought RM v1 i received activation key for two? installations. Used only for one. Upgraded to RM v2 and received activation key again and activated license. RM v2 didn't perform well on my computer although RM v1 was performing good. I was not able to calculate same size map on v2 . So i cleaned my computer, reinstalled windows etc.. Downloaded RM v2 again and used activation key. Activation key is not working !! i compered activation key from v1 to v2 and appears that i received the same activation key for v2 as i have for v1 (two installations, used only for one).

Buy upgrading to v2, i thought that i will be receiving NEW activation key for two RM v2 installations, and will be able to keep at least one installed RM v1 for witch i paid long time ago. To my despoilment that was not the case.

I am OK with not having RMv1, but i can't activate RMv2 !

Hi Kestas,
Yes, the key is the same for both RM1 and 2, and you can use it for either - so you can keep RM1 installed alongside RM2 for as long as you like. This does limit you to using RM1/2 on the same two computers, of course.
If your activation is being lost, please check that you are up to date for both v1 (1.8.41) and v2 (2.0.29/30). Earlier versions can cause issues here.
