Hi Matt!

In RM2 I am trying to change the start time of the track but the end time doesn't reflect the change and it is not saved. Once I close the track window, and when I open it again, the start time isn't changed?

What kind of track is this Riba? Is it sourced from a sonar log or other file source? Are you displaying times in UTC or local?

It is sourced from sonar log. Time zone is UTC+1.
I have also noticed that when I import a Tide station from a text file with local times (on import I mark Times as local), the Tides window is showing it in UTC times.
These tracks were imported with these tide stations. Are they somehow limited to fit into a tide station time range?
Also, over here during winter we have CET time (UTC+1) and during summer CEST time (UTC+2). How is RM dealing with this?

OK tell me that I am thinking this right.
My files ares stored in my HDS with local time. When I import them into RM I set the time to local. During winter I set the time zone on UTC+1 and during summer on UTC+2. My tracks properties are showing UTC time.
Also, when I'm creating a tide station from text file I do it with local times. On import I mark Times as local. During winter I set the time zone on UTC+1 and during summer on UTC+2. My tide stations are shown with UTC time.
This way my tracks and my tide stations are both saved in UTC times and correspond to each other :)

Is anything changing with this switching of time zone when I am generating a map with the time zone set to one time and the tracks were imported with other time zone? Are there going to be any problems if I do it the way I described above?

Matt?

Riba,
I think there might be an issue when dealing in local times. We are looking at it now and may release an update early next week.

Hello Matt,

Are there any news on this issue? The new release seems to behave the same as the old one?
