Hello everybody!

Congratulations on RM version 2!

I was just testing it and I have some questions - suggestions:
- Pressing DEL taster sometimes deletes something else than what I have marked. In the "Confirm delete Assets" and other similar windows it would be a good idea to write what we are about to delete!
- Palette editor sometimes doesn't save the palette with fixed depth correct?
- Why can't we have an option of setting the default palette for BC?
- Why is sometimes Shaded Relief showing everything in one-two colors (blue and black) even though I've set up a fixed a palette with fixed depth for it?

Regards!

Thanks RIba.

DEL will delete whatever is currently selected (or most recently selected). In general, if there is no "confirm delete" window then the action can be undone (via CTRL-Z). We don't show a confirmation window for deleting track-points, map components etc or else that would get a little clunky I think.
If you could post (or email) more info on any palette issues you are having that would be useful - neither of those behaviours should happen, but be aware that the latest version of RM2 does fix a problem with fixed depth SR palettes so check you are updated to that version.

Thanks for the quick answer Matt! (as usual:))
About deleting, I was just thinking it would be a good idea to show (write) in the "confirm delete" window what asset we are about to delete.
In RM1 the default palette for BC was blue and now it is gray. What about if I would like it to be in the brown colors? Wouldn't it be nice to have the possibility in the global settings to set this default BC palette as it is done for normal, depth palettes?
These other palette issues I will check once again after I check that I have installed the latest version of RM2.

Hi Matt,

Just to let you know, I have installed the new version of RM2 and there are no more issues with palette editor and Shaded Relief :)
There still remain two first suggestions from the last post :)
