Maybe I'm missing how to easily do this in 2.0? In 1.0 you could quickly and easily remap colors by setting a max and min depth to scale the colors to. Now all I see is a terrible list of depth entries, where I can individually map colors. There's not even one entry per depth range. When you bring up the color selector, you don't get a list of color choices within the high level color scheme you've already chosen. Please bring back the easy min/max depth color adjustment. And for the color selector, add an additional color selection area that contains all the colors from the pre-selected color scheme.

This functionality has moved to "Fixed depth palettes", which allow the same depth range to be applied to different maps/layers more easily. You need to create a new palette (you can clone an existing one now), check the "Fixed depth range" option and then the min/max depth. You can also (optionally) add extra colours for above or below the max/min (e.g. a land colour for < 0).
Take a look at the first page in the new manual ("What's new in ReefMaster 2.0"), there is a section at the bottom with some key issues when migrating from v1 to 2. We will be writing a more comprehensive migration guide before the full release of v2.

Thanks for the help. Previous statement retracted, sorry I didn't take the time to look things up.

No worries. There are a few little differences when moving to 2, and we are working on a tutorial post to go through most of them before the "go live". I think the fixed palettes will end up being a little more flexible overall, especially with the new layers setup. It should end up easier to set up a fixed depth palette, assign it as the project default and then apply it across multiple maps and layers - but it does mean that some projects won't look exactly as they did after migrating from RM1.
