Getting ready to purchase the Motorguide xi5 and was thinking will it work with RM maps that are AT5 in my Lowrance Gen 2 I use Sl2 logs to create the maps

I don't really see a question here? But I am using the Xi5 motor with my HDS7 Gen3. I make my maps in ReefMaster and everything works great. I don't really see what the map has to do with the Xi5?

I think he wants to folow a contour and with the XI5 it is not possible, not with RM maps and not with navionics or other commercial maps. Only Minn Kota has the option to "follow contour". You can make tracks on a RM map on your Lowrance and let the XI5 follow that, that's how I do it

My ideal was to be able to create a rt and save it to my rm map and then go back to it using the motorguide xi5
