Does anyone know if the lowrance hds gen 2 (not touch) can custom shade a contour range. I know that the newer units can be set to highlight a contour, I wondered it I can do it with my gen 2 not the touch? And if so can I do this on my ReefMaster map?

Try the Preset Style Vector Map with Depth Highlight Layer. This map style exports two sets of isobaths, with the upper layer isobaths all set to a bright pink colour. You can then turn individual depth ranges on or off in your unit under chart categories, which will effectively give you a depth highlight functionality.
