I'm shopping for a new laptop to take along on the boat to use for mapping using Live Data with my Lawrence HDS7 Gen 3.

Any suggestions on system requirements for the laptop? I'll be mapping in 10-100 feet of water & covering about 1/2 a square mile at a time, but with close together tracks.

Trying to keep the cost reasonable so I don't cry too much if the laptop get splashed by saltwater and ruined...
