The Lowrance Literature for the HDS-7 Gen2 Touch advertises a NMEA 2000 Ethernet port. The Reefmaster tutorial for live data refers to NMEA 0183 protocol. Will the HDS-7 Gen2 Touch work with Reefmaster properly to record live data?

and also a NME0183 Output through an RS422/pinout.

You only have to deal with the signal,
for the PC you need an RS232, so you have to wire your own adapter.

To my knowledge (and according manual) device is also equipped with nmea0183

You need something like this www.sailoog.com/en/product/usb-nmea-0183-converter to have data on your PC.

Or you can use the hds 7 touch Ethernet port connected to wifi router to output data over wilan... You can also get the hds screen onto an iPad etc via lowrance go free app....

Your HDS has NMEA0183, it is part of the powercable.
