I recorded accidentally a few sidescan logs with wrong settings in my Lowrance unit and now I have data where the left and right channels are reversed. Is there any simple trick for correcting these data?

Set the file you want to convert as the demo file in the simulator, go to the sidescan settings and flip l/r. Now play the sidescan simulation and record on your unit. It will take some time.....

I tried the trick with Elite-5 Ti but unfortunately in the simulation mode flip l/r did not make any difference on the screen nor in the re-recorded log file. Does it work for you? Which device and firmware version do you have?

I've never tried it, never had the need to, but couldnt see any logical reason why it shouldnt work. maybe greg could throw something in here ? I will try it on a small file in my simulator and see what happens.

The only thing I can add to this conversation is that this is not possible in the current version of RM, and won't be implemented in 1.x, because the way we handle these things makes it rather non-trivial. It is, however, going to be available in RM 2 as a single button operation.
