I install ReefMaster v 1.8.35 on my VM to check some things.
When i was tried to import my waypoint from gpx file, i was received the following error:
I was try in win 7 64bit and 32bit with no success :(.
I'm an administrator on this windows and can edit/save this file with notepad.

Access to the path 'C:\Users\Shraga\Documents\Ashdod\Ashdod_GPS78.gpx' is denied.

Do you get this on every file you try to import?

Only on the waypoint gpx file.
The sl2 file are ok.

It's a strange one. Can you send the file through to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ? I doubt it is the file, but I would still like to take a look.

Thanks. Definitely not the file, as expected. Are you sure that you do not have this file open in any other application? Some applications can be a little greedy, and open files with exclusive access.

I can open it after the error in nodepad for editing and saving

Did you install RM as a user or as administrator? It is possible that it doesn't have access to that directory (the user directory is protected), so if you are not logged in as user "Ashdod" then it may not get access. You could try running RM as administrator and see if that fixes the issue. Have you tried moving the gpx file somewhere else, to see if the problem persists?

I even copy anther file to c:\temp and still received this message "Access to the path 'C:\Temp\Dvir.gpx' is denied."
I run RM as administrator with no help :(
I was attached a print screen for the message in RM and open the file in notepad with no problem

I was found the problem.
VMWare change the files atribute to readonly when i copy the files from my machine to the VM.
Now, I will check this with VM support
