You are probably better off overlapping the maps by a little, rather than trying to get an exact match up. You may get a little line/label duplication in the map on the unit, but only one set of colours will show.
Depth colours are calculated using the minimum and maximum depth for the project, and interpolating a colour from the palette using the isobath depth. To get the same colours for the same depths across multiple maps, you need to use the
Depth Range option. This will use the min/max depths you enter as the range used when calculating the map colours. I would use the "minimum minimum" and "maximum maximum" across all your sections:
The last point is due to the data that is included in each section. The interpolation method we use, "TIN", creates triangles between all of the supplied data points and then interpolates depths on the planes of those triangles. The issue is that you will usually end up with a slightly different arrangement of triangles when generating different areas of the same data set. It's not that one of these interpolations is "wrong", it is actually that they are all "wrong" to some extent (simply a best guess, based on available data), and unfortunately there is not much that we can do about it. Overlapping a little more may help.
Also, consider adding your depth areas to a single
User Map. This way, you can see how your alignment is without having to export first, and you can also export all of the map segments together to a single AT5 file.
