I have a new PC and just install the software with my PRO key.

I have no longer have background map been display, why ??

Did you check backgroundmap in your settings?

There's no reason that the base map shouldn't show other than a loss of internet connectivity. It looks from your screen-shot that you have the map display on but it is worth double-checking which map you are showing, by looking in the settings section that Guido posted.
What sort of internet config do you have on this computer, and have you been able to view maps before?

I have the setting on yes. It may be my office firewall blcoking the call from the software.
