I've been slowly building a map of a moderate sized reservoir (about 3,000 acres). I had not given it much thought over the past year...I just start recording at the boat ramp and add everything my Lowrance saw during the day to my map after I get back. It now occurs to me I have a LOT of data in some places where my boat sat for hours while I was fishing. Is this eventually going to be a problem such that I should stop doing this and only record when the boat is moving? More specifically, is there some maximum limit to the number of data points RM can handle?

The largest single file I have imported to RM had more then 2 million points. (XYZ from MBS.) The largest single workspace I work on is 400 km2 and has sonarlogs from close to 20 people. I have no idea how many points, but a lot. Don't worry. :)
