ReefMaster doesn't support the old "low quality" SLG setting. SL2 is the preferred format, and given the cost and size of memory cards these days there is little reason to choose a lower quality recording.
You should be able to retrieve depth and position data by using the "use slg2txt.exe" option - you will need to have the old Lowrance Sonar Viewer installed for this to work.

One more question regarding this, I have a small portable boat also, fore remote waters.
My HDS12 is a bit big to use in this boat, I’m using an old Lowrance LMS 527I-GPS in this boat.
Is it possible to use this sonar/GPS to create maps to reefmaster or am I forced to log SLG files with equipment. I’m new using the reefmaster software, and have only tried the test period so far.
I used to make maps with this equipment with Drdepth software before.

2. My computer is also working its last days, should I buy a new computer before purchasing the reefmaster software? Or Can I move my license from my old computer to a new one in the near future? If I’m lucky I can use my old computer a while longer and spend my money on fishing gear instead 

You can log with the older LMS-units. Log in best quality (can't recall the setting).

For depth-charts it will work fine to mix logs from this unit and HDS-units. For hardness-maps you might have to fiddle with the settings a bit if you need perfect results.
